...Rises Expected on the Lower San Joaquin River System...

.Increasing forecast rainfall runoff will lead to monitor stage at Michigan
Bar along the Cosumnes River. There is a possibility of reaching Flood Stage
for the Cosumnes River at Michigan Bar and McConnell, Bear Creek at McKee Road,
and the Mokelumne River at Benson`s Ferry later this week.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

Cosumnes River At
 Michigan Bar 03/21 13:30 stage 6.2 ft
 Forecast to rise above monitor stage of 7.0 FT early tomorrow
morning then forecast to rise to near  11.0 FT tomorrow afternoon.
 Monitor stage 7.0 ft, Flood stage 12.0 ft
Impact for Michigan Bar...Near 8.0 feet, Low lying lands along the
river begin to flood.
