Mostly cloudy skies prevailed across Puerto Rico today. Showers
and thunderstorms developed across northeast, central and west
interior sections of Puerto Rico today. This activity produced
periods of locally heavy rains along with dangerous lightning with
gusty winds. Due to the moderate to heavy rain several flood
advisories were issued for the island. Estimated rainfall amounts
were between one to two inches. Winds out of the east southeast 10
to 15 mph with higher gusts within thunderstorms.

This evening an isolated shower is possible mainly across the
eastern portions of Puerto Rico. Winds will be out of the east
southeast at 5 to 10 mph. This weather pattern will continue
through Tuesday as showers and thunderstorms will move across
parts of northeast, interior and western sections of Puerto Rico
during the afternoon. Moisture will increase and decrease
periodically through the week.

Across the regional and local waters, seas between 3 to 6 feet
with easterly winds up to 20 kts. There is a moderate risk of rip
currents across most of the local beaches.
