Princeton, Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, Bucksport, Castine, Eastport,
Machias, Cherryfield, Dover-Foxcroft, Milo, Guilford, Danforth,
Vanceboro, and Topsfield

...Elevated fire danger this afternoon...

The Maine Forest Service has indicated that the wildfire danger
in Washington, Hancock, southern Penobscot, and southern
Piscataquis counties increased to a moderate risk today. You
should check with your local fire department or forestry office
before doing any burning. Please remember that a burn permit is
required for all burning.
