  James River from Jamestown to the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel...

  Coastal Waters from Parramore Island to the VA/NC Border out 20
NM...
  Waters from Parramore Island to the VA/NC Border 20 to 40 NM...

At 516 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of showers and
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds up to around 30 knots.
These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near
Quinby Inlet to Latimer Shoal to near Cobham Bay, moving southeast
at 20 knots.

  Latimer Shoal, Kiptopeke Concrete Ships, Cabbage Patch, Plantation
  Light, 4th Island Bay Bridge, Cape Charles Harbor and Buoy 36a
  around 520 AM EDT.
  Fishermans Island around 525 AM EDT.
  Cape Charles Light, Quinby Inlet, Great Machipongo Inlet and Sand
  Shoal Inlet around 530 AM EDT.
  Ship Shoal Inlet and Cape Henry Wreck around 535 AM EDT.
  Anglo African Wreck around 540 AM EDT.
  James River Bridge around 550 AM EDT.
  Dominion Pier and Monitor Merrimack Bridge Tunnel around 605 AM
  EDT.
  Hampton Flats and Hampton River Inlet around 610 AM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...locally higher
waves...and a few lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
