This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Elevated to critical fire weather conditions are likely to develop
on Friday, with the western third of the Texas Panhandle being at
greatest risk for possible extremely critical fire weather
conditions. Elevated to possible critical fire weather conditions
may develop on Saturday, mainly across the western Panhandles.
Elevated to critical fire weather conditions will be possible on
Sunday, mainly across western two-thirds of the Texas and Oklahoma

There is a chance for thunderstorms across the eastern half of the
Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles on Monday. At this time, no severe
weather is expected.


Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.

Area fire managers and emergency officials should be alert for
elevated or critical fire weather conditions Friday, Saturday and
