If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...North to northwest winds will continue to relax through this evening, becoming light and variable for a time after sunset and then favoring a more easterly/down-canyon component through the night. RH recoveries are expected to be quite poor. After sunrise Monday, winds will once again start to shift and favor a more northwest to up-canyon directional component, with magnitudes gradually increasing. By the afternoon, generally anticipate winds around 7-15 mph with a few gusts 20-25 mph. Additionally, there is a low (around 10%) chance of some isolated high-based shower activity to form off the high terrain in the afternoon, and anything near the burn area would have potential to produce gusty and erratic outflow winds. Generally expect min RH values in the low teens. Winds Monday evening are expected to follow a similar pattern to that of Sunday, relaxing somewhat and gradually shifting to a more down-canyon to southeasterly flow. RH recoveries are anticipated to be slightly better, but still fairly poor overall. Winds once again shift following sunrise Tuesday, quickly favoring a more westerly/up-canyon direction. With a weak system approaching through the Great Basin, anticipate winds increase in magnitude a bit quicker, with afternoon sustained values around 15-20 mph and gusts around 25-30 mph. Moisture will remain limited, but sufficient in combination with the approaching system to result in a bit more coverage of isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. In addition to the threat of lightning, these will once again carry potential for gusty and erratic outflow wind gusts with anything near enough to the burn area. .REST OF TONIGHT...
