...Scattered showers will move onshore and continue inland...

Through the evening, gusty onshore winds will continue to cause
showers to form over the Atlantic, with motion toward the west at
15 to 20 mph. Scattered showers will penetrate far inland, with
the duration of individual showers being short, however some areas
will experience several rounds of rain.

During the first half of the evening, easterly winds will average
around 20 mph, with occasional gusts near 30 mph, especially along
the coast. Winds will be gradually diminish later this evening, but
will remain gusty near the Atlantic coast.
