...Statewide Tornado Drills Today in Minnesota and Wisconsin...

Quiet weather today will allow the statewide tornado drills in
Minnesota and Wisconsin to continue as scheduled.

As a reminder:

- Tornado drills will be held at 145 PM and 645 PM.
- Some communities may sound their sirens at one or both times.
- Some TV and Radio stations may interrupt coverage to talk about
the drill.
- There will be a test on NOAA Weather Radios similar to our
routine Wednesday tests.
- Social media posts will take place at drill time.

There will not be:

- Any test tornado watch or written test tornado warning from the
NWS.
- EAS alerts through TV or radio.
- Cell phone or app alerts. Nothing via the Wireless Emergency Alert
system.

This drill is the perfect time to practice your plans and talk about
what you would do when a tornado warning is issued for your
location. Where is your shelter at home, work, school, or place of
business?

Talk about these actions with your fellow workmates, family members,
school kids, or friends.
