Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
1051 AM CDT Tue Apr 17 2018

Clouds covered much of Wisconsin this morning while high
pressure to the west was bringing mostly sunny skies to much of
Minnesota and Iowa. Lows temperatures last night were mainly in the
20s.

High pressure will gradually slide across the area later today,
pushing the early morning clouds eastward, resulting in ample sun
for most today, and mostly clear skies for tonight. High
temperatures are expected to range from the mid 30s over northern
Wisconsin to the mid 40s in eastern Iowa. Lows tonight will
mainly be in the 20s once again.

Another storm system will bring accumulating snows to the area
Wednesday. Several inches are likely for some, with travel impacts
resulting. Winter storm warnings, watches and advisories are in
effect for portions of the region.
