Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
245 AM EDT Wed Apr 24 2024

...New DISCUSSION, AVIATION, MARINE, FIRE WEATHER...

.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 236 AM EDT Wed Apr 24 2024

Thanks to high pressure dominating, the weather remains in a warm,
dry holding pattern, with each day becoming a bit warmer. Rain
remains absent through the end of the forecast period. Easterly to
southeasterly winds will keep the warmest temperatures over our CWA.
High temperatures will be in the upper 80s to low 90s through the
week, with minimal cloud cover. Though the temperatures suggest
summer has already begun, one big difference will be the humidity,
which will remain low throughout the week.

.AVIATION...
(06Z TAFS)
Issued at 236 AM EDT Wed Apr 24 2024

VFR conditions prevail through the period. Easterly winds will turn
onshore later this afternoon, before becoming light and variable
overnight.

&&

.MARINE...
Issued at 236 AM EDT Wed Apr 24 2024

High pressure over the area will persist, allowing for benign marine
conditions. Easterly winds will shift onshore during the afternoons,
and should remain below 15 knots.

&&

.FIRE WEATHER...
Issued at 236 AM EDT Wed Apr 24 2024

Relative humidity values are expected to be critically low each
afternoon as a high pressure system dominates the pattern. However,
winds should remain below criteria for any RFW.
