National Weather Service Grand Rapids MI
1027 PM EDT Tue Mar 12 2019

...River and stream levels to increase significantly later this

The following rivers are forecast to rise near or above flood
stage by the end of the week:

  Chippewa River at Mt. Pleasant
  Muskegon River at Newaygo
  Muskegon River at Bridgeton
  Grand River at Comstock Park
  Grand River at Robinson Township
  Maple River at Maple Rapids
  Rogue River at Rockford

Rivers and streams will see significant rises later this week, as
the warm temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday will melt much of
the existing snowpack. In addition, most of the area could see an
inch of rainfall through Thursday night.

Specific locations of rainfall amounts remain somewhat uncertain.
Forecast rises on the area rivers and streams will be dependent
on how much rainfall each river basin experiences.

People that live near the rivers should continue to monitor the
latest information.
