...Locally heavy rainfall may produce street and poor drainage
flooding this afternoon and evening...

As the rain moves in across central and eastern Massachusetts and
Rhode Island, bands of heavy rain will develop this afternoon and
evening. Isolated thunderstorms may also develop, which could
enhance the heavy rainfall.

There is the potential for localized street and poor drainage
flooding on roadways, which may affect this evening`s commute.

Motorists should monitor updated forecasts for the potential of
localized flooding that may occur this afternoon and evening.
