651 PM CDT Sat May 19 2018 /551 PM MDT Sat May 19 2018/

For the region Saturday night, a mostly clear sky with cool
temperatures will dominate, except in far southern South Dakota
where mostly cloudy conditions along with occasional light showers
are forecast. Widespread frost is likely across the western and
central Dakotas overnight, thus sensitive outdoor plants may be
killed if left uncovered. Overnight low temperatures will mostly
be in the 30s, except upper 40s from southeast South Dakota into
southwest Minnesota.

For Sunday, expect plenty of sunshine along with warmer temperatures
for most areas. The exception being southeast South Dakota where
mostly cloudy conditions and a few lingering showers are possible.
Afternoon highs will range from the mid 60s south to the mid 70s north.

Dry and warmer Monday with highs in the 70s. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms return to the entire region Tuesday through Friday.
