Today, a warm and dry daytime was seen across the area as highs
once again rose into the 70s and 80s. This set the stage though as
thunderstorms developed by early evening with some large hail and
damaging winds seen across the eastern Panhandle.

For tonight, a few strong storms continue to move east across the
area with the greatest threat for a strong wind gust or small hail
generally east of Highway 97. Overnight lows will only fall into
the 50s and 60s once again. Some locally heavy rain will be
possible but rain should end by sunrise for most if not all
