...Moderate Risk of Rip Currents Today...

Rip Current Risk:      Moderate Risk. Life threatening rip currents
                       are possible in the surf zone. Remember to
                       swim near a lifeguard and with a non-inflatable
                       flotation device, such as a life jacket or
                       boogie board.

Lightning Risk:       None.

Ultraviolet Index:     Extreme. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses,
                       and use sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher. Remain in
                       shade if possible.

Weather:               Partly Sunny with isolated showers. Chance of rain
                       20 percent.

Temperatures:          Mid 70s.

Wind:                  Northeast 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 mph during
                       the late afternoon.

Wave Heights:          Building to 3 to 5 feet.

Surf Temperature:      75 degrees.

Bay Temperature:       74 degrees.

Tides:                 A high at 8 26 am.

Outlook:               An elevated risk of rip currents will remain
                       possible through the upcoming weekend. Local
                       temperatures will stay mild through the week
                       ahead with highs in the middle to upper 70s.
                       Friday and Saturday will feature the chances
                       for isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
