.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT...Surface trough to the north
northeast will remain nearly stationary in the next few days. RAOB
from this afternoon depicts an unstable profile. Satellite shows
scattered convections north of Tutuila slowly moving west
northwest from the territory. Gentle east winds will persist
through Tuesday night. Isolated showers will remain across the
islands during the short term.

.Long term...
WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...The trough up north will move across
the islands on Wednesday night, bringing numerous showers and
winds shifting to the north. A low pressure passing across Fiji on
Wednesday will hold the trough through the weekend. As the low
moves south of the islands, winds will shift to breezy northwest
flow on Thursday morning. Models are consistent in the last
couple of days in holding numerous showers over the islands
through the weekend.


Seas of 5 to 7 ft will persist through Wednesday night. With
breezy winds moving across on Thursday morning, seas will build 7
to 9 ft on Thursday night and remain through the weekend.
