...Moderate Risk of Rip Currents Today...

Rip Current Risk:      Moderate risk. Life threatening rip currents are
                       possible in the surf zone. Remember to swim near
                       a lifeguard, if possible, and with a non-inflatable
                       flotation device, such as a life jacket or boogie

Lightning Risk:       None.

Ultraviolet Index:     Low. Wear sunglasses on bright days, and use sunscreen
                       of SPF 15 or higher if you burn easily.

Weather:               Cloudy with light rain. 60 percent chance of rain.

Temperatures:          Near 50 degrees.

Wind:                  Northwest 8 to 13 mph.

Wave Heights:          3 to 5 feet.

Surf Temperature:      50 degrees.

Bay Temperature:       48 degrees.

Tides:                 A low at 9 51 am. A high at 7 o2 pm.

Outlook:               The risk for rip currents will likely remain
                       elevated through the weekend and into Monday
                       of next week with elevated wave heights. The
                       temperatures quickly warm during the weekend
                       with a mix of sun and clouds. Slight chances
                       for rain return Sunday night and for Tuesday
                       night with a series of weaker cold fronts.
