...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MARION AND
NORTHWESTERN WINSTON COUNTIES THROUGH 800 AM CDT...

At 716 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Needmore, or over Haleyville, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Haleyville, Lynn, Double Springs, Nauvoo, Houston Recreational Area,
Ashbank, Brushy Lake, Needmore, Moreland, Winston Free State Barn,
Ashridge, Smith Lake, Bear Creek, Weiss, Posey Field Airport, Clear
Creek, Winston County Airport, Cane Creek, Pebble, and Upper Bear
Creek Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
