...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ABBEVILLE COUNTY
THROUGH 500 AM EDT...
At 423 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles east of Elberton, or near Lake Strom Thurmond, moving east at
50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Calhoun Falls, Lake Russell, and Richard B Russell Dam.
