...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN PERRY...UNION...
JEFFERSON...WESTERN WILLIAMSON...EASTERN JACKSON...NORTHWESTERN
ALEXANDER AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 645 AM CDT...

At 615 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Irvington to near Scott City. Movement was
southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Carbondale, Marion, Mount Vernon, Herrin, West Frankfort,
Murphysboro, Benton, Carterville, Anna, Johnston City, Christopher,
Jonesboro, Rend Lake Area, Sesser, Zeigler, De Soto, Crainville,
Cambria, Cobden, and Royalton.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 24 in Illinois near Mile Marker 1.
 Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 22 and 38, and
between Mile Markers 44 and 105.
 Interstate 64 in Illinois between Mile Markers 63 and 87.
