...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flash Flood Watch for portions of northern Connecticut,
southeastern Massachusetts, and Rhode Island has been cancelled.

Heavy rain inundated areas of northern Connecticut towards the
south Boston metro area with storm total rainfall amounts ranging
around 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts around 3 inches.

Still some heavy rain showers along south coastal New England as
of 8 pm that are likely to persist overnight shifting southward
and out to sea in the process. Additional rainfall up to an inch
is possible across south coastal communities of Rhode Island and
Massachusetts including Cape Cod and the Islands however flooding
is not anticipated.
