  Currituck Sound...
  Coastal Waters from the NC/VA Border to Currituck Beach Light NC
out 20 NM...

At 206 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm, capable of
producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
near Deal Island, moving east at 10 knots.

The strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Deal Island and Knotts Island Bay around 245 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...locally higher
waves...and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
