...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MUHLENBERG...CHRISTIAN...
CALDWELL...TRIGG...HOPKINS...TODD and EASTERN LYON COUNTIES UNTIL
430 PM CDT...

At 355 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a few strong
thunderstorms, one east of Elkton, another southeast of Cadiz and
another southeast of Crofton, KY. These storms were generally moving
north at 15 mph.

Pea size hail, winds in excess of 40 mph and torrential rain will be
possible with the stronger storms. Localized flooding is possible
given the slow movement of these storms combined with very heavy
rainfall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
