...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN BOYD...SOUTH CENTRAL
GREENUP...NORTH CENTRAL LAWRENCE AND EASTERN CARTER COUNTIES...

At 1016 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Oldtown, or
near Grayson, moving southeast at 30 mph.

Pea size hail is possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Grayson, Princess, Oldtown, Durbin, Coalton, Denton, Rush, Hopewell,
Hitchins, Warnock, Mavity and Lockwood.

This includes Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 168 and
185.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
