A STRONG UPPER TROUGH IS INDUCING RAPID CYCLOGENESIS IN THE NORTHERN
TEXAS PANHANDLE. THIS WILL BRING WIDESPREAD HEAVY RAIN TO SOUTHWEST
KANSAS WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF SEVERE WEATHER IN THE NEXT FEW HOURS
ACROSS SEWARD, MEADE, CLARK, HASKELL, GRAY, AND FORD COUNTIES. BY
TONIGHT, TEMPERATURES WILL DROP WELL INTO THE 30S AS STRONG NORTH
WINDS BRING MUCH COLDER AIR INTO SOUTHWEST KANSAS.
