WEATHER SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
148 AM CDT WED SEP 11 2019

HOT AND MAINLY DRY WEATHER WILL CONTINUE TODAY AND THURSDAY AS
HIGH PRESSURE PERSISTS OVER THE SOUTHEAST U.S. A COLD FRONT WILL
WEAKEN AS IT ENTERS THE AREA AND THEN MOVES THROUGH FRIDAY.
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIGHT UP WELL TO OUR WEST AND
NORTHWEST THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT. HOWEVER AS THE ACTIVITY
MOVES INTO OUR AREA, THE COVERAGE WILL DECREASE AS THE FRONT
WEAKENS, OFFERING US JUST A LOW CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND STORMS. THIS
WILL LEAVE SOME AREAS IN NEED OF RAIN. DRY AND WARM WEATHER IS ON
TAP THIS WEEKEND AS HIGH PRESSURE RETURNS TO THE AREA.
