...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM PDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...High temperatures of 98-103 degrees expected in lower
  elevations this afternoon with tonight`s low temperatures in the
  mid 60s to 70 degrees, resulting in widespread moderate HeatRisk.

* WHERE...Western Nevada Basin and Range including Pyramid Lake and
  Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  heat events, particularly for those working or participating in
  outdoor activities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
