...Snow To Affect Travel Conditions This Afternoon...

A band of moderate to heavy snow has set up across portions of central
and southern Vermont, mainly Addison, Orange, Rutland, and Windsor
Counties.

Observed snowfall rates of a half inch to one inch per hour are
taking place with visibilities falling to a quarter mile at times.
This is expected to make driving conditions difficult for the
next several hours into the evening rush hour commute. Leave
plenty of space between yourself and the vehicle in front of you
and use extra caution in anticipation of rapidly changing road
conditions.
