Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region

Skies will become partly to mostly sunny today as low pressure and
an upper level disturbance tracks well to the north away from the
area. A westerly breeze will usher in drier conditions.
Temperatures will be seasonably mild, with the mercury rising well
into the 60s. A few 70 degree readings are possible.

High pressure briefly builds tonight. Winds lighten and mostly
clear skies will give way to increasing clouds later tonight. Low
temperatures will range from the lower 40s to the lower 50s across
the New York City metropolitan area.

On Friday, more wet weather is on the way as another area of low
pressure approaches. Rain will move in during the morning, and
continue into the afternoon. Onshore winds along with the clouds
will keep temperatures cooler than normal. Readings will peak in
the 50s to near 60 in spots.
