The affected areas were...
Nearshore and Open waters from The Islands OH to Vermilion OH...

The thunderstorms have moved out of the warned area and no longer
pose a significant threat to boaters.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
north central Ohio...and the adjacent waters of Lake Erie.

...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Nearshore and Open waters from Vermilion OH TO Willowick OH...

At 723 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 26 nm north of Lorain Harbor to 12 nm northwest of
Avon Point, moving east at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Willowick, Avon Point, Lorain Harbor, Vermilion, and Cleveland.
