...HIGH SURF ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CHST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 10 to 13 feet.

* WHERE...Along east facing reefs of Pohnpei.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM ChST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor wave run-up or splash up is possible,
  especially around high tide. Surf still remains elevated along
  north facing reefs, but is currently below hazardous levels.
  Another pulse of northerly swell later this week may cause surf
  to become hazardous along north facing reefs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

  localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor wave run-up or splash up is
  possible, especially around high tide. Surf still remains
