.SYNOPSIS FOR THE SOUTHERN OREGON COASTAL WATERS...
Longer period west-northwest swell will continue through this
morning before subsiding some this afternoon and evening. This
swell will continue to result in advisory level seas. Meanwhile,
northerly winds will gradually increase through Thursday evening
nearing gale force for some of the area south of Cape Blanco and
west of Point Saint George Thursday afternoon and evening. The
combination of building wind seas and swell will result in very
steep seas generally 5 NM west of the coast westward south of Cape
Blanco as early as Thursday afternoon. Winds are forecast to
lower Friday, but seas are likely to remain steep.
