...THE FOLLOWING RIVER MAY RISE TO NEAR OR ABOVE FLOOD
STAGE EARLY THIS WEEK...

  Rifle River at Sterling

Ongoing snow melt is expected to cause a gradual rise in river
levels on the Rifle River near Sterling in Arenac County.  The river
may rise above its flood stage of 6 feet at some point later Monday.

Continue to monitor later forecasts and possible Flood Warnings
early this week.
