...THE FOLLOWING RIVERS ARE FORECAST TO RISE ABOVE ACTION STAGE
THROUGH THIS MORNING...

  Manistee River at Sherman

A slow moving low pressure system has resulted in excessive rainfall
during the past 36 hours. This has lead to water level rises on the
Manistee River at Sherman. The river is forecast to rise above
action stage this morning with the possibility of briefly reaching
minor flood stage of 15 feet on Friday morning. Other area rivers
have also risen dramatically through the past 18 hours. We will be
monitoring this situation as more rain falls across the area today.
