...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR SOUTHEASTERN GILLESPIE COUNTY...

At 754 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area in the late
afternoon. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding is
likely ongoing, especially near larger creeks and streams. Rain has
ended and the flash flood warning will be allowed to expire at 830
PM.

HAZARD...Life threatening flooding.

SOURCE...Doppler radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Life threatening flooding of creeks and streams, urban
         areas, highways, and streets.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Fredericksburg, Stonewall, Rocky Hill, Blumenthal, Cain City,
  Luckenbach, Grapetown, LBJ State Park and LBJ National Historical
  Park.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Pedernales River, Grape Creek and their immediate tributaries.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
