.DISCUSSION...

In the wake of a cold front that passed through earlier this
morning, wind speeds are currently from the north at 20-25 mph
gusting to about 30 mph. Sustained wind speeds may reach 25-30 mph
later this afternoon with gusts closer to 40 mph. This will
likely be the case through the afternoon and into the
evening/overnight hours. Wind speeds should decrease to around
15-20 mph after midnight, but will remain there through the
overnight hours with gusts around 25-30 mph. Wind speeds will be
from the north and will remain from there through tonight with
only a slight easterly component this afternoon. We are not
expecting any precipitation with this front. RH values will drop
down to around 25 percent this afternoon for the minimum.
