.DISCUSSION...A very moist air mass will remain over the area
through Friday night with showers and thunderstorms continuing.
The highest chance of thunderstorms will be from midday through
the late evening hours. The potential for severe thunderstorms is
low however with locally heavy rainfall will be possible and with
recent rains creating nearly saturated soils the potential for
flooding is increasing. High temperatures on Friday will be in the
upper 80s with heat index values as high as 102 degrees.
