.DISCUSSION...
An approaching cold front has caused winds to pick up and this will
continue through this afternoon. Southwest winds of 20 to 25 mph
and gusts up to 40 mph, if not occasionally higher, are expected.
Some showers are possible this afternoon and evening but the
best chance for any precip will be along the front as it moves
through after midnight. An inch or two of new snow can`t be ruled
out by Friday morning. Once the front moves through, more westerly
winds are expected but they will still be gusty on Friday. Gusts
will be a bit weaker around 30 to 35 mph.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (65-75 percent). Rain showers and
                    snow showers likely in the afternoon.
CWR.................40 percent.
Max temperature.....43-48.
Min humidity........41-46 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Windy. South winds 15 mph increasing to 20 to
                    25 mph with gusts between 30 to 40 mph possible
                    this afternoon.
Smoke dispersal.....Very good increasing to excellent in the
                    afternoon.
