.DISCUSSION...
Light northeast winds and a strong inversion due to high pressure
over the area will persist until about Friday. Mixing will be limited
to 2500 feet AGL because of the presence of this inversion. In addition
a second inversion closer to the surface will form during the evening
hours and linger until late morning inhibiting smoke transport.
A bit of shallow fog is possible over the next two mornings. Elevated
smoke from very active California fires will drift over the burn area
and are mentioned as haze for Wednesday and Thursday.
