Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will continue into the evening hours today, but will dissipate overnight. A small weather system will move through the area Saturday morning, which will bring some rain to portions of the area. Currently, this area of rain is expected to be southeast of the fire, but convective development will occur in the afternoon. The CWR remains very low (up to 10%) and would only occur if a stronger thunderstorm moves directly over the fire. RH will drop to as low as 20% Saturday afternoon. Wind will preodminantly be from the west/southwest on Saturday, with gusts as high as 30 mph from the general flow. Stronger gusts up to 50 mph will occur with thunderstorms. ...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds... ...Haines index is high level haines both day and night... .SATURDAY...
