FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Winds will continue to become southerly ahead of an advancing cold
front which will pass north to south across the lake Saturday
evening into early Sunday morning. Modest to breezy northerly to
northwesterly winds will take hold after the frontal passage and
last into early next week. Waves will rapidly increase to near 10
feet Sunday, gradually decreasing Sunday night into Monday.
Northerly flow will persist through the first half of the week,
becoming light and variable by midweek as high pressure builds
into the region.

.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 kt becoming west late in the
morning, then becoming northwest 10 to 15 kt early in the
afternoon becoming north late. Slight chance of showers in the
morning, then slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the
afternoon. Waves 1 to 2 ft.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 kt. Chance of showers in
the evening, then showers likely overnight. Waves 2 to 4 ft.
.SUNDAY...North winds 15 to 25 kt increasing to 30 kt. Chance of
showers. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...North winds 15 to 25 kt diminishing to 10 to
20 kt. Chance of showers. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft
subsiding to 3 to 5 ft.
