...TRACE ASHFALL POSSIBLE IN THE VICINITY OF SEMISOPOCHNOI VOLCANO...

The Alaska Volcano Observatory has detected continued activity
and sustained ash emission on satellite data from the
Semisopochnoi Volcano located about 160 miles northwest of Adak.
Any ashfall in between Adak and Kiska including Amchitka is
expected to be of trace amounts.

Southerly winds aloft will continue through tonight. This will
allow the plume to move over marine areas north of the Western
Aleutians.
