...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH LATE
MONDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts of 55 to 65 mph
  possible....shifting to the northwest by Monday afternoon.

* WHERE...In Arizona, Northwest Plateau and Lake Mead National
  Recreation Area. In California, Western Mojave Desert and
  Eastern Mojave Desert. In Nevada, Northeast Clark County,
  Sheep Range, Spring Mountains-Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas
  Valley, Lake Mead National Recreation Area and Southern Clark
  County.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening through late Monday night.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Areas of
  blowing dust will reduce visibility and make travel hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will be increasing Sunday evening and
  remain gusty overnight especially in downslope favored areas.
  Strongest winds will occur for most areas by midday Monday and
  gradually ease Monday night.

  White Mountains of Inyo County and Death Valley National Park.
  In Nevada, Esmeralda and Central Nye County and Western Clark
  and Southern Nye County.

* WHEN...From Monday morning through late Monday night.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power
  lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty northwest winds will accompany a
  strong cold front moving through the area. In addition to the
  strong winds, patchy blowing dust will be possible.
