West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure will build into the
southern and central waters today and tonight, and move E of the
waters Sun. A low pressure trough will pass E over the northern
waters today into tonight. A low pressure area will develop just
S of Long Island by Sun afternoon. The low will strengthen and
move NE while passing N and E of the waters Sun night into Mon
with an associated strong cold front moving E and SE over the
region. The front will clear E of the waters by Mon afternoon. A
high pressure ridge will build along the coast by later Mon and
Mon night, move E over the central and southern waters Tue, and
then slowly move off to the E of the waters Tue night into Wed
night. A warm front will lift NE over the northern Mid-Atlantic
states Wed night.
