MARLBORO...MINOR FLOODING DUE TO HEAVY RAIN OCCURRED ON CHERAW
STREET IN BENNETTSVILLE, REPORTED AT 1230 PM ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER
11TH.

INLAND NEW HANOVER...A SMALL STORM SURGE COUPLED WITH HIGH TIDES
CAUSED THE CAPE FEAR RIVER TO FLOOD A PORTION OF WATER STREET IN
DOWNTOWN WILMINGTON. THIS IS A FLOOD-PRONE AREA.

COASTAL NEW HANOVER...A MINOR STORM SURGE COUPLED WITH HIGH TIDE
FLOODED A SECTION OF CANAL DRIVE IN CAROLINA BEACH. THIS IS A
FLOOD-PRONE AREA.

COASTAL HORRY...IN GARDEN CITY BEACH, A MINOR STORM SURGE COUPLED
WITH HIGH TIDE FLOODED PORTIONS OF ATLANTIC AVE AND CYPRESS AVE.

COASTAL HORRY

AN APARTMENT ON PALMETTO POINT BLVD NEAR SOCASTEE HAD DAMAGE TO ITS
SIDING. THE CALYPSO INN IN MYRTLE BEACH HAD DAMAGE TO ITS ROOF.
THERE WERE TWO TREES BLOWN DOWN ON CHEROKEE STREET IN MYRTLE BEACH.

COLUMBUS

A TREE WAS BLOWN DOWN ON HIGHWAY 701 SOUTH OF WHITEVILLE

DARLINGTON

OVER 3,500 ELECTRICAL CUSTOMERS WERE WITHOUT POWER DUE TO TREES
FALLING ACROSS POWER LINES.

MARLBORO

ALMOST 1,500 ELECTRICAL CUSTOMERS WERE WITHOUT POWER DUE TO TREES
FALLING ACROSS POWER LINES.

INLAND NEW HANOV

DAMAGE OCCURRED TO AN ALUMINUM AWNING ON A BUILDING IN DOWNTOWN
WILMINGTON. MULTIPLE OUTGOING FLIGHTS WERE CANCELED AT THE
WILMINGTON AIRPORT. SPORADIC POWER OUTAGES AFFECTED SEVERAL THOUSAND
CUSTOMERS DURING THE AFTERNOON.

FLORENCE

SOME FLIGHTS WERE CANCELED AT THE FLORENCE REGIONAL AIRPORT.

COASTAL GEORGETO

NEWSPAPER PHOTOS SHOWED A FEW TREES BLOWN DOWN BY HIGH WINDS.
