Calm weather conditions with hazy skies prevailed through much of
the islands today. However, thunderstorms developed over the
interior, west, north central and San Juan metro area during the
afternoon. Rainfall accumulations ranged between one and two
inches of rain. Maximum temperatures were in the mid and upper 80s
along the coastal areas. Winds were from the east to east-
southeast between 10 and 15 mph with sea breeze variations.

Tomorrow will likely be similar to today, with hazy skies during
the day and conditions remaining favorable for afternoon
convective development along the cordillera central and west of
it. Passing showers are expected overnight, especially for eastern
portions of the islands. Winds will diminish overnight, then pick
up out of the east tomorrow at around 10 to 15 mph. Temperatures
will fall into the mid 70s in coastal areas and low to mid 60s at
higher elevations overnight tonight. Daytime maxima tomorrow will
range from the mid to upper 80s in coastal areas, to the upper 70s
to low 80s at higher elevations.

Seas are relatively tranquil to slightly choppy. Winds will
remain easterly up to around 15 knots. Seas of 5 feet or less
are expected across the local waters.
