NORTHWESTERN LIVINGSTON, SOUTHEASTERN EAST FELICIANA, WEST CENTRAL
TANGIPAHOA AND NORTHEASTERN EAST BATON ROUGE PARISHES THROUGH 300 PM
CDT
...

At 214 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Livingston, or 13 miles northeast of Denham Springs,
moving northwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Amite City, Roseland, Montpelier, Watson, and Pride.

This includes Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 41 and
58.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
