.DISCUSSION...

The high temperature this afternoon will be around 50 degrees with a
minimum relative humidity near 25 percent. Winds will be out of the
southwest at about 10 MPH with gusts to 20 MPH. Winds will shift more
westerly later in the afternoon as a winter system begins to move into
the area. There is a slight chance for snow showers late in the afternoon,
however precipitation will become increasingly likely overnight once a cold
front sweeps across southeast Wyoming. Snowfall accumulations of 1 to 2
inches will be possible Thursday night. Winter weather continues into the
day Friday with highs in the mid 20s. An additional 1 to 3 inches of snowfall
accumulation will be possible during the day Friday. Breezy northerly winds
at 20 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH could cause areas of blowing snow. A Winter
Storm Watch is currently in effect from 8 PM Thursday night through midnight
Friday night.
