This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Clouds will increase from the west today with breezy conditions as
lower valleys gust in the 20s with gusts in the 30s for southeast
Utah. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop
by late afternoon over the higher terrain, spreading into western
Colorado and some valleys by evening. Gusty outflow winds will be
the primary concern with some stronger gusts up to 40 mph and
potential for small hail across northeast Utah.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Showers and thunderstorms will become more widespread Thursday
with cooler air and snow in the mountains. Snow amounts of 3 to 6
inches are possible in the higher terrain, mainly above 10,000
feet MSL. The cold front and disturbance will move through the
area Thursday evening.

A break will occur Friday through Saturday, with another trough
of low pressure potentially bringing unsettled weather Saturday
evening through Sunday. Dry conditions resume for the early part
of next week.


Spotter activation will not be needed.
