FAR SPRING 2020 SEASONAL CLIMATE SUMMARY

THE SPRING SEASON AT THE FARGO HECTOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WAS
COOLER THAN NORMAL. THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR THE SEASON WAS
50.8 DEGREES WHICH WAS 3.0 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. THE AVERAGE
TEMPERATURE FOR THE SEASON WAS 40.5 DEGREES WHICH IS 2.5 DEGREES
BELOW NORMAL. THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 30.2 DEGREES WHICH WAS
2.1 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.

PRECIPITATION FOR THE SEASON WAS BELOW NORMAL.  TOTAL PRECIPITATION
WAS 3.22 INCHES WITH APRIL HAVING THE MOST LIQUID PRECIPITATION WITH
1.61 INCHES REPORTED. OVERALLPRECIPITATION WAS 2.25 INCHES BELOW
NORMAL.

TOTAL SNOWFALL FOR THE SEASON WAS 6.2 INCHES WHICH WAS 5.9 INCHES
BELOW NORMAL. APRIL HAD THE GREATEST SNOWFALL AMOUNT FOR THE SEASON
WITH 5.6 INCHES DUE TO A LATE SEASON STORM.
