THE SPRING SEASON AT THE GRAND FORKS UNIVERSITY (NWS) WAS COOLER
THAN NORMAL. THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR THE SEASON WAS 48.8
DEGREES WHICH WAS 3.6 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE
FOR THE SEASON WAS 38.9 DEGREES WHICH IS 2.7 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.
THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 28.9 DEGREES WHICH WAS 1.9 DEGREES
BELOW NORMAL.

PRECIPITATION FOR THE SEASON WAS BELOW NORMAL.  TOTAL PRECIPITATION
WAS 3.49 INCHES WITH APRIL HAVING THE MOST LIQUID PRECIPITATION WITH
1.88 INCHES REPORTED. OVERALLPRECIPITATION WAS 1.26 INCHES BELOW
NORMAL.

TOTAL SNOWFALL FOR THE SEASON WAS WELL ABOVE NORMAL WITH 19.0 INCHES
WHICH WAS 7.5 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. APRIL HAD THE GREATEST SNOWFALL
AMOUNT FOR THE SEASON WITH 12.0 INCHES DUE TO A LATE SEASON STORM.
